Marie Alexander
Goals of D-day
Not all the goals were met but some were including, moving Germans out of France and try to confuse the Germans by telling them the attack was in a different place and 7,000 ships were present dropping off men to fight in the largest human war invasion. D-day was the beginning of the end of German terror, and helped bring hope to the people Germans were torturing by making it clear they were going to lose.
