A lead is like a hook at the beginning of a story It catches the readers attention and makes them want to read more.


"Don't go chasing waterfalls.Please stick to the rivers and the lakes that you're used to.I know that you're gonna have it your way or nothing at all, But I think you're moving too fast." me and My 2 siblings sing loudly in the car on our way to California. We have been singing TLC songs for the past 2 hours, I was starting to loose my vocals but i still hit every high note.

Snapshot

A snapshot creates a picture in the reader’s mind.


I was in The Pageant Arena with Camila and crazy fan girls shouting for Jack Johnson and Jack Gilinsky to come out. I remember being pushed and shoved because I was in the front row. I had a cardboard cutout of Jack Johnson's head. My head starting to hurt because of the girls screaming for Jack J and Jack G to come out.

One time me and my friend Melany where jumping on my trampoline and we where playing catch with a ball and then I leaned against the net and the net broke and I fell out the net and on the ground and I tried to save my self by putting my arm out and when i did that I broke my arm.

Therapy dogs are dogs that are used to bring comfort and joy to those who are ill or under poor conditions, such as those who have been affected by a natural disaster. Many people are able to connect with dogs and feel the love that they provide, and this has a therapeutic effect on them.
