Field Trip This Wednesday
Our classroom is looking forward to our trip to the Safari Park next week! We have received all of our permission slips back and are excited to continue our learning about animals! Your child needs a sack lunch and drink from the school or they need to bring their own. Please let me know ASAP if your kiddo needs a school lunch. If a student is bringing in their own lunch, they can bring it in a disposable sack (easy to throw away). Please be sure to label your kiddo’s sack and drinks if they are bringing them from home.
We will be leaving the school as soon as possible - around 8:40. Parents who signed up and pre-paid are welcome to meet us in Room 2 and will be joining us on the bus. If you are a chaperone, please bring your driver's license to check in at the front office and allow for extra time if several parents are checking in all at once. After our day at the Safari Park, we will have lunch and play for a bit before coming back to school around 2:00.
Please make sure your firstie...
*dresses for the weather
*wears comfortable walking shoes- no flip flops
*brings a packed lunch OR lets me know to pre-order a school lunch
*eats a large breakfast before coming to school
*comes to school on time

Nickels for Nails:
Fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity April 12-26
Habitat for Humanity helps people without homes build safe places to live, including some houses right here in Crozet! The Crozet Elementary Leadership Club is sponsoring a fundraiser to raise money for our local Habitat for Humanity.
How can you help? Please donate spare change and let's watch those coins add up. Bills are ok, too. :-) We are even having a friendly competition to see which grade level will donate the most. Thank you for your generosity. Together, we can make a difference!
Materials Needed!
We have many fun crafts coming up. If you are able, please send in as many of these materials as you can. THANK YOU! :D
1. Ribbon (for an Earth Day tree activity)
2. Fabric Scraps (Earth Day activities)
3. Wrapped Candy (The office staff and our cafeteria staff work hard every day for the well being of our children. Please help us to honor them by sending in a package of individually wrapped candies!)
