Hindu Temple, Temple B'rith Kodesh-Jewish, & Islamic Center
Learn about world religions!
Everyone is welcome, families, youth groups, grandparents, college students. Please join us for a visit to the Hindu Temple, Temple B'rith Kodesh(Jewish), and the Islamic Center of Rochester People will drive individually to each of the sites at the times specified for each venue. You may choose to go to only, two or all three sites.
This unique opportunity in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Nostrae Aetate. Also known as the “Declaration on The Relation of the Church to Non-Christian Religions,” it is a key Vatican II document from October 28, 1965, proclaiming the importance of interfaith dialogue. In the document all Catholics are called to pursue dialogue and understanding with other religions.
The Catholic Community of Rochester, especially, has much to celebrate in its historic outreach and dialogue with other faith communities over the years. Please join us for this special day.

Rochester Interfaith Religious Site Tours
Visit any or all three religious sites, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim. A religious leader at each site will give a tour and explanation of religious artifacts, symbols and sacred furnishings lasting about 45 minutes.
