Now It's Time to Say Goodbye...for now
Dear Parents, Students, and Community Members:
As the principal of Houston Elementary School for the past 3 years, I can honestly say I know our school, community and students exceptionally well. At Houston, we pride ourselves in creating students who flourish both academically and socially. We strive for excellence in every way and we work hard to create students who enjoy academia and who will become future leaders in the Lancaster Independent School District and beyond.
It is our atmosphere of empathy and high expectations that set a tone for everyone during these unprecedented times. By utilizing the highest standards and teaching virtually, our highly trained staff sustained instruction for all students thus providing engaging lessons and and continuing opportunities for academic success. Besides our academics, we also offered a wide array of enjoyable and enriching virtual activities that broadened all students’ and parents' experiences.
Houston has a great deal to offer to any student, and we are proud of our school and the community for sticking with us during this pandemic. It has been my pleasure leading and working with such a high caliber of students and parents, and I look forward to working with you all next year. No matter what the future holds or what school will look like next year, we are all in this together. Have a safe, enjoyable summer, and look for important information for the 2020-2021 school year on our district website. In the meantime, continue to Honor. Exceed. & Serve.

Parent Survey
Greetings Lancaster ISD Parents and Guardians,
We are making efforts to gather information from parents/guardians as we prepare for the upcoming school year. We believe the voices of our parents/guardians are extremely important. Therefore, we want to make sure your voice counts as we strategize for the upcoming school year.
We are asking all parents/guardians to participate in the following survey. The purpose of this survey is to gather parent/guardian input about online and in-person learning for the 2020-2021 school year. We would like to assess which learning setting you are most comfortable with for your child as we continue to practice social distancing protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic. We will utilize the information as we plan for possible learning options for the upcoming school year to ensure your child’s safety. Thank you in advance for completing the survey.
Please CLICK HERE to complete the Survey. Take care and be well.
If you have already taken the survey, please disregard this message.
