Public Comment
Three members of the public were given opportunities to make comments to the board at the beginning of the meeting. All three voiced concerns related to former school employee Ron Arthur.

Superintendent's Report
Dr. April Grace reported that walls are going up for the Will Rogers safe room and the district is actively working with the Commissioners of the Land Office and the City of Shawnee for a city street at the new elementary school property. The safe room and the new school site are the final two projects from the 2016 bond election.
Board Decisions
All of the following were approved by the board during the meeting:
- all consent docket items;
- changes to the 2021-2022 Secondary Handbook;
- employment of Stephen L. Smith Corp. as financial consultants to the district for the current fiscal year;
- a cooperative agreement with Pleasant Grove School to allow two students to participate in Shawnee Middle School football during the current season;
- several board policy revisions;
- an amendment to the Lease Purchase Contract with Vision Bank in order to apply a rebate received from OG&E in the amount of $242,149;
- the addition of the position of Assistant Director of Transportation;
- all personnel items as presented.
