Marie Murphy Switches to Modified Onsite Daily Schedule Beginning April 7
When we return to school on April 7, MM will be using a modified onsite daily (MOD) schedule. Mr. Palcer emailed the details to all parents on March 24, but below are some of the highlights of the new schedule.
- Students attend school on-site every day from 8:00-1:50
In using a block schedule, students have half their classes one day (Maroon Day) and the other half of their classes the next day (Gold Day). Maroon Days and Gold Days do not impact onsite student attendance or impact the time at school. Students are attending daily from 8:00-1:50.
You can see the grade-level specific schedules below, which have been updated to address a few minor editing errors.
Before arriving at school, students will need a self-certification sticker and will enter in the same grade-level specific doors that they have entered all year.
Your child’s schedule will be available in PowerSchool this week. Ms. Grandys is hard at work entering new schedule details into PowerSchool.
A 40-minute Viking Time period will occur each day to address SEL needs and to provide academic intervention & enrichment opportunities.
Students will be dismissed at 1:50 each day, exiting out of the same door they entered to start the day.

Free COVID testing is being offered at Marie Murphy starting on April 2. You can read more about it by clicking here.
