Picture Retakes - November 11th
Hello Bannach Bulldogs -
Please be aware that the District is going to continue to continue to require face coverings through 2nd quarter (November 5-January 21). For a more detailed outline, please see the communication from Superintendent Gerlach 11/2/21.
Sunday is the end of Daylight Saving Time - don't forget to change the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms this weekend when you set your clocks back! These alarms save lives, but only if they work.
"The beginning of autumn brings many milestones: crisp weather, changing leaves and jack-o’-lanterns. Much less welcome if you have an early-rising toddler, autumn also brings the end of daylight saving time, commonly known as “falling back,” when much of the Northern Hemisphere will set their clocks back one hour, returning to standard time. In the United States this year, daylight saving time will end at 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021, and will return in the spring, at 2 a.m. on Sunday, March 13, 2022, when the clocks “spring ahead” one hour.
Parents of small children often dread these shifts, which can upend nap and bedtime routines. But with an understanding of how the time change affects sleep, and a bit of planning, you can help ease the transition for your family.
For those of us with children who wake us up in the morning, however, falling back can be painful. Toddlers already tend to get up earlier than their parents might desire; with the time change, a child who typically sleeps from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. will now be on a 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. schedule. The sleep period has not moved, but the clock has." Follow this link to learn more: How to Prepare Babies and Kids for the End of Daylight Saving Time.
Thank you ~ Mrs. Champion
Be sure your child is dressed for the weather - the mornings are chilly!
