Jam Club
2021-2022 School Year
We are excited to offer a Jam club for our 6th-12th Grade students!
Jam Session Details
Jam Club is a challenging and fun way to learn the fundamentals of playing an instrument both on your own and with others. Through one-and-a-half-hour virtual jam sessions, students will play along with the instructor to develop the basic skills of rhythm, tempo, harmony, and improvisation by “doing” as opposed to just watching. Sprinkled throughout each session will be instruction. Given the virtual nature of these sessions a student can take the necessary time needed to work on a skill at their own pace and then rejoin the group as needed. With a focus on experimentation and development, Jam Club is a fun and exciting way of opening a student up to a world of sonic possibilities.
