Winston Churchill
Churchill began the war as the Lord of the Admiralty in Great Britain. He encouraged the development of tanks and made sure the British fleet was ready, but after several failures, he resigned and joined the Army. He rose through the ranks ending the war as the State Secretary for War and Air.
Kaiser Wilhelm II
Following the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand in June 1914, Wilhelm incited Austria-Hungary to exact revenge against Serbia. Events spiralled throughout July resulting in the First World War.
