It is home to an lots wildlife, including moose, elk, mule deer, black bear, coyote and bighorn sheep. The Canadian Rockies are known to have 1300 species of plants, 20,000 types of insects and spiders, 40 types of fish, 16 species of reptiles, 277 species of birds and 69 different species of mammals.
Physical features and Tourist attractions
The Jasper Tramway is the longest and highest aerial tramway into Jasper National Park's tundra. It takes you up Whistler's Mountain to an elevation of 7496 feet. Maligne Lake is Jasper's oldest attraction. It is the largest lake in the Canadian Rockies.
