Announcements
Our staff's Ugly Sweater Christmas Party is on Saturday, December 13, 2014 beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Julie Smith’s house, 6760 Hall Rd., Plainfield, Indiana. Grab your ugliest sweater and stop by! Come enjoy a GREAT night of laughs! Asking $5.00 per couple to cover the cost of appetizers and soft drinks. Feel free to bring your favorite bubbly! There is a prize for the Ugliest Sweater! RSVP to Kathy Crum.
Grade Level Teams - As you begin preparing for Team Time for the second semester, I want your team to analyze the intensity and fidelity of the services that you are providing. For example, if you have students struggling with vocabulary are you grouping them together and giving them intense vocabulary instruction? If you have only a few students with a specific need, are you grouping them together with students from other classes who have the same needs? Are you providing intense vocabulary instruction every day?
Office Keurig - I currently buy distilled water, cups and lids, cream, sugar, and spoons for the staff to use in the office to make coffee/tea out of my own pocket. I have also been buying the k-cups. Everyone is always welcome to use these items and the Keurig, however once we are out of coffee or tea in the cabinet I won't be buying anymore. Please bring your own k-cups to use.
Remember - Pay day Fridays are Spirit Days for the rest of this school year for staff as our way to celebrate your work in earning an A rating during the 2014-2015 school year. Enjoy wearing jeans and your Plainfield gear!
