Christianity is a monotheistic religion. That means that they believe in only one god. The followers of this religion are called Christians. Their main belief is that Jesus is the son of God and that he died on the cross for our sins. An important tradition to Christians is being baptized and taking communion . The place where Christians worship God is called a church. The worship leader is usually called a pastor or a priest. The Holy Bible is believed to be the inspired word of God. The two major Christian holidays are Christmas and Easter. Christmas celebrates Jesus's birth and Easter celebrates his resurrection from the cross. An important site to Christians is Mount Sinai where Moses received the Ten Commandments. It is believed in all three religions that Abraham is the prophet.
