Mueller Park Junior High School
April 10-14
Dear Parents,
I hope this letter finds you well. We are fast approaching the end of the school year and with it comes end of year testing (Advanced Placement, Rise, and Aspire Testing). We would like to convey the significance of these tests and address any concerns you may have.
The RISE and ASPIRE tests are state-mandated assessments that measure student proficiency in math, reading, and science. These tests provide valuable information to teachers, parents, and school administrators on how well our students are progressing and where they may need additional support. These tests also help us evaluate the effectiveness of our curriculum and instructional strategies.
We understand that standardized testing can cause anxiety for both parents and students. However, we want to assure you that our teachers have been preparing our students for these tests throughout the school year. We have also taken steps to create a supportive testing environment to help our students feel more comfortable and confident during the testing process.
We believe every student can succeed, and these tests provide us with valuable information to help us support their academic growth and achievement. We strongly encourage you to ensure that your child is present and on time during the testing days. Please also encourage them to do their best and remind them that these tests are just “one” way that we evaluate their progress.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership in your child's education. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us.
Sincerely,
Jo Richins
Principal

Summit Support
We want to make things as easy as possible for parents to see what is going to be coming due for their students; therefore, we have created our grade level due dates.
This document will give you a main idea of when each Checkpoint, Project, and PFA. Remember, if it says the blue line passes on.... that means it is due that day.
Parents are always encouraged to log into Summitlearning.org to identify the specifics of their student's grades.
