LHS Weekly Update

Week of November 2nd, 2020

Welcome Back....

This week we will welcome back a little over 400 students to on campus learning. Please take a few minutes to review the information included below along with some commonly asked questions.

I am coming back from virtual learning, where do I go on my first day back to school?

Please check your schedule on Sunday November 1st by logging into FOCUS. Students will need to report to the first period class that is listed on their schedule. We will be providing students with a revised copy of their class schedules during their first period course.

I am new to the building, how do I know where to go ?

We have posted our new student orientation video on Canvas, this provides students with a brief overview of our building and common areas.

What do I have to bring ?

Please ensure to bring your district provided laptop charged everyday to school. We would also recommend bringing a notebook and writing instruments. If you were provided with textbooks for virtual learning and are returning to campus, please bring your textbooks with you.

How do I know which lunch period I have ?

First and fifth period teachers will review lunch schedules with students on the first day.

Who do I contact if Canvas isn't working for me on the first day back ?

We will be finalizing student schedules throughout the weekend. As a result, Canvas may take an extra day to sync your courses. Give the program until Tuesday morning if your courses aren't available by then, please contact canvas@collierschools.com.

This week we celebrated "Spirit Week" at LHS... Please find a few pictures below...
