Showing up to school greatly impacts a student's academic success. Families play a crucial role in ensuring that a student gets to school safely and on time daily. We understand that absences are unavoidable, such as illness or medical appointments. Please call in advance if your child will not be in school.

Welcome back Little Eagles!!
I hope you all had a fabulous summer, I can't wait to see you all in just a couple weeks.
Come see me in the office at Open House just to say HI or if you would like to pick up a brochure on things your student may benefit from some helpful tips on!
Please feel free to reach out if you are in need of resources or if there is a way I can support your student as we move into the new school year.
I can be reached at: email@example.com or 517-769-8557.
Move This World is our Social Emotional Learning curriculum. Students practice multiple weeks strategies through videos and activities in the classroom through this program. Use the above document to access and practice at home too.
PLANNING FOR THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR:
New Medication Forms must be filled out by the parent/guardian AND provider for the upcoming 22'-23' school year. This goes for both prescription and non-prescription medications. All medication authorization forms expire at the end of each school year. You can stop in the front office to pick up a form or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I can send one over to you.
The Columbia School District as a whole will now be implementing Individualized Health Care Plans (IHPs) for students with specialized healthcare needs. This will include those that have an allergy, diabetes, asthma, etc. Once this form is filled out, a copy will be given to the office staff, teacher, and coaches (if applicable) to ensure that ALL staff will be implementing the same care in the form of an emergency situation. I had sent the form via email at the end of the school year last year to those that require one for the 22'-23' school year. I will be sending out another email over the next couple of weeks so please keep an eye out. I will also have copies in my office and during the back to school bash if it is easier for you to pick one up there. Please let me know if you have any questions.
The PTO Meeting is the first Thursday of every month.
All parents and staff are invited to attend. Free childcare is available during the meeting.
