Math (Grade Level)
We are currently working with rational operations (add/sub/mult/div) using integers (whole numbers +/-) and the order of operations. We will be expand our investigations to include fractions and decimals. In mid-September we will begin the essential skills quizzes as explained in the parent letter.
Math (Accelerated)
We are currently reviewing linear equations and solving systems of equations and will transition to exponential and quadratic equations later in September. Like with the grade level class, we will begin the essential skills quizzing in the coming weeks. We are also reviewing 7th grade standards as we go to ensure that learning gaps don't creep in as a result of their acceleration.
