Information for the Week Ending January 26, 2018
- Many thanks to the PTO for a successful Boosterthon Fundraiser! In the coming weeks they will have the final totals. I do know the goal was achieved. Way to go IEF!
- This past Thursday, Brooke Geller from Teacher's College Readers/Writers Project worked with our 3rd and 4th grade teachers.
- Spelling Bee for Grades 2-4 will be Friday, February 2nd from 9:00-11:00. If your child is participating, you will receive notification from Mrs. Doane.

Staying Healthy During Cold/Flu Season
- Wash your hands frequently, especially after blowing your nose, coughing, sneezing, being with ill people and especially before you eat
- Avoid sharing objects
- Avoid touching your nose, mouth and eyes
- Get enough sleep and avoid getting "run down"
- Reduce stress
- Use tissues for coughs and sneezes and dispose of them immediately and appropriately
- Eat right and get regular exercise
- Avoid crowds and keep your distance from people whom you know are ill
- If you are sick, avoid contact with the frail, very young and elderly
- If you are sick, stay home from work or school
Prospective Integrated Pre-School Parent Night
The Green Brook Township Public Schools Integrated Preschool Program will be holding an Informational Night for parents of preschool-aged children who would like to know more about the program. This event will take place on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 6:00-7:00 P.M. in the I.E.F. Elementary School Media Center. Attendees will be able to register and submit their deposit for the upcoming school year.
Otherwise, registration for the 2018-19 school year will be available for the district on the Green Brook Township Public Schools website at www.gbtps.org on February 1, 2018. SEPAG-New Date
Dear Parents and Guardians,
This is a reminder that on Thursday, February 1st from 7:00-9:00 p.m., the GBTPS Special Education Parent Advisory Group (SEPAG) is meeting in the I.E.F. Elementary School Media Center. The schedule is as follows: 7:00-7:30 meet-and-greet with refreshments, and 7:30-9:00 planning/discussion. At this meeting, we will continue our work with our SPAN representative to develop the group's mission statement and more. Thank you!
