Epic Language Arts Learning
April 27 - May 1
Hello Epic students,
I hope you had a great weekend. Here's an overview of this week's optional assignments. As always, I encourage you to challenge yourself and complete what you can.
Read, Respond, and Get Ready to Debate
Next Monday, I'd love to hear your take on how gaming fits with school. Read the article and note any details that you react to. Next, join our class on www.listenwise.com (Class Code: loud-dog-4478) to hear how gaming is now a college major.
Do That Diagnostic
Ixl can be monotonous, but it is excellent skill practice. Please complete your diagnostic then work on the recommendations. They are prescribed based on the seventh grade standards you've mastered and what you still need to learn.
Vocabulary on Flocabulary
Get ready for a horrible song to get stuck in your head and to learn some new words! Watch the video, study the flashcards, and quiz yourself with the game. (At least it's not a worksheet.)
Essay Practice on NoRedInk
Your assignment is to design a neighborhood of the future. Explain what you would include in a neighborhood of the future and why. Include specific details and examples in your design.
Stay safe and learn about the world.
