End of Year Celebrations
Tentative May 25th 8th Grade Celebration - If you have an 8th grader, please come to our next PTO meeting to start planning this fun event. Our next meeting is TBD as Spring Break and the next Board meeting may effect the date.
Important Dates to Remember
March 2nd - 7th and 8th Graders head to the Federal Courthouse for a Mock Hearing.
March 6th - Vaccine Clinic for students who have signed up.
March 10th - Spring Carnival Hosted by Student Council
March 13th - March 24th SPRING BREAK
April 11th - April 27th is when we will be working on our State Assessments NM-ASR - Science Assessment and the MSSA (The State Summative Assessments.) These assessments do not take this long, but we will complete the testing during these weeks.
April 28th - AMAZING SHAKE - Every year our students participate in a school wide competition called the Amazing Shake. This competition allows students to practice many of the skills we teach them. Our incredible students were super successful at the Regional National History Day Competition at the Farm and Ranch Museum on Friday February 24th! Now they will be advancing on to the State Competition which is set for April 15th. Want to know more about what National History Day is? Check out the link below.

National History Day Competitors Dominate Regional Competition!!
- Allie Goldsteen won 1st Place for her Individual website
- Aiden Wojtko took 2nd place for his paper.
- Maddie Sandel, Uma Ivey-Quintero and Lily Louick took 2nd in Group Documentary
- Piper Gandy and Lianna Brown took 3rd in Group Documentary
- Ethan Robillard, Wesley Ray and Josh Rodriguez received Honorable Mention for their website
- Alivia Villanueva took 1st in individual Documentary
- Troy Ainsworth took 2nd in his individual Documentary and Calvin Chastine took 4th with his Individual Documentary!!
