Galvan Elementary Updates
Dear Galvan Family,
On Tuesday, April 6, 2021 our 4th Grade Students take the STAAR Writing Assessment face-to-face. Grades Kinder through 2nd grade will receive Asynchronous instruction from home. The following grade levels will attend face-to-face with the 4th grade students Tuesday April 6th:
* Adaptive Education K-5th
* Early Childhod Special Education
The Texas Edcuation Agency has approved this waiver for our Kinder thru Second Grade Students to have an Asynchronous Day during the STAAR Assessment Days. Please make sure to make arrangements for the Asynchronous Students to work from home.
A letter was sent last week electroncially to our parents of the April 6th STAAR Assessment Day for our 4th Grade Students.

We are encouraging our Explorers to continue the passion and perseverance to do their best in school with the hope for a better future for tomorrow!
Please make sure to self-screen your family daily to avoid the spread of COVID-19. If your child has any of the Covid Symptoms please contact our school Nurse Ms. Diaz at 361-878-2800 before returning to school each day. Our priority is Safety First for our school community and everyone's support and cooperation is greatly appreciated!

Students who attend school Monday thru Thursday have free dress code every Friday.
Students that are learning remotely turn in their assignments by end of day through Canvas to their teacher.
Students may wear any solid color shirt with jeans or khaki without any holes.
Parents/Guardians at this time please refrain from dropping off lunches or donating snacks to the class due to COVID-19 circumstances. We appreciate your support and understanding.
