What's Happening...

This week we will continue learning about animals that hibernate, migrate, and adapt during the season of winter. The kindergarten children have been busy making a cave for our animals to hibernate in. On Thursday, the children are invited to bring in a stuffed animal for our hibernation study. We will share snack with our stuffed animals, and then the animals will hibernate in our cave. Unlike animals that actually hibernate for the winter season, our animals will wake up in time to go home. Typically, the children prefer to not have their animals spend the night at school. We have discussed various animals that hibernate, however, if your child prefers to bring in an animal that does not hibernate, that is okay. This activity should be fun.

Please keep in mind that this Wednesday evening is Parent Child Night. You are invited to come spend time in the classroom with the children while they show you some of their favorite activities. I am looking foward to seeing all of you on Wednesday night. Please check the memo in your child's folder details and time.
