A Note from Miss Caitlyn
Dear Lincoln, Logan & McPherson County 4-H Families,
School is in full swing and so is the Nebraska State Fair! Good luck to all of our county exhibitors competing.
If you plan to turn in production records, the deadline is September 15th. The 4-H council is offering scholarships again this year. Application deadlines are also September 15th.
As school starts back up we are busy planning school enrichment and after school programs. Be on the look out for information on our website (llm.unl.edu) and our facebook page- Lincoln, Logan & McPherson County 4-H Nebraska.

4-H Scholarships
Youth interested in applying for state-level scholarships must make that designation on their application, as well as complete the additional section titled “Nebraska 4-H Foundation Scholarships.” Additional materials are required for youth applying for scholarships. These materials must be submitted digitally along with the completed Achievement Application. For more information about Nebraska 4-H Foundation scholarships, please visit:

Production Records
The purpose of 4-H record keeping is to teach how to keep records, which is an important life skill. Record keeping is an ongoing process that does not end when the 4-H year ends. Youth are encouraged to select a format and process that meets their needs and their learning style.

Diamond Clover
The Nebraska 4-H Diamond Clover Program is designed to encourage 4-H youth to engage in a variety of projects and activities that will enable members to acquire the life skills necessary to lead successful lives as competent, caring and contributing citizens. The program’s overall goal is to provide 4-H members a rich and diverse learning experience. Deadline is September 30, 2022.

It’s never too early to start thinking about the next fair season, right? If you’re interested in judging 4-H projects, contests, or shows in 2023, be sure to complete the statewide judging sign-up form at 4h.unl.edu/judges by September 30, 2022.

4-Hers mark your calendars for the 4-H STATE RODEO!
The 4-H State Rodeo will be held October 8, 2022, in Lincoln, NE at the Lancaster Event Center. Keep a lookout for more information to come!
