Project Kids is Hiring

I am looking to hire some students who are at least 15 years of age or
older to be part of our Project Kids team. Project Kids is our before and
after school program which is located in all of our elementary schools.
We have many shifts available Monday through Friday with the option to
work before school or after or a mix of both. We are very flexible with
our scheduling of hours.
Project Kids is a great program where you can come to work and make a
difference in the lives of our elementary aged students. A typical day
would include playing board games, coloring, playing in the gym, arts
and crafts, helping with homework and just spending time interacting
with our kids.
If this sounds like a place that you would like the opportunity to be
involved with please call or email me at Slattery@Isd191.org
I would love to set up a time where we could meet and you can come see
our program in action.
If you’re thinking about a career in education this is the perfect job for
you. This position starts at $13.85 an hour. Email or call today- 952-707-3908.

Weather Related Learning Day Expectations

Elementary School VA Students

Morning meetings will happen at the regular scheduled times. Asynchronous work throughout the day. Ability to check in with teacher's regular office hours for help.

Middle School VA Students

Due to shared staff with virtual academy and our in-person schools, middle school VA will be primarily asynchronous.

Teachers will post an assignment on Schoology for each class. Each class will have one assignment posted and attendance will be taken for each class based on completion of that assignment.

Advisory will take place today from 9-10am.

Students should use the advisory link they use each day. Please note that advisory is at a different time today and will be the only live session today.

Teachers will also be available throughout the day via Schoology and e-mail to assist students and answer questions.

High School VA Students

Because high school VA is asynchronous with work posted weekly, there will be no change to high school VA programming today.

The Winter/Spring Youth Brochures are here! Check out the many opportunities available through our Community Education Department.
