Early Literacy Leaders
Issue 1: August Updates & Tips
Literacy Leaders
We cannot underestimate the importance of the early childhood years in children’s overall development and literacy learning. What we do in these early years will make a difference in their reading patterns, interests, and lifelong desire to learn. This year the Flint Kids Read Literacy Team will continue supporting the professional development of early childhood classroom staff to build literacy knowledge. This newsletter is created just for you, the early childhood leader, to provide updates and to build your knowledge of language and literacy development.
