One thing you can do is put on something that fits the organization or job. Also wear clothing that's clean and pressed. Make sure to keep jewelry to a minimum.
Make sure to be polite and to greet nicely. It is always important to make a good first impression. Also if you're nice then you have a better chance of being hired than those who aren't polite.
If you're focused and authentic your going to be a shoe in for the job. Bosses usually hire employees they know are hardworking and authentic.
