History
Arches is near the small town of Moab, Utah. The first people to enter Arches were Native Americans and they learned to carve tools and other supplies from animal bones and other natural objects. They learned how to plant food for themselves such as squash, beans, and corn instead of moving with the bison everywhere they went.
Rock Formations
There are many rock formations in Arches National Park but the most famous ones are of course the Arches. Some of the other formations include platues and mountains.
Famous Arches
Delicate Arch
Delicate Arch is located in Arches National Park and is one of the many famous arches.
Mesa Arch
Mesa Arch is Much different than Delicate Arch in many ways such as its shape and thickness.
Double O Arch
Double O Arch earned its name because it has a second hole in it below the larger one.
