Important Announcement

Thank You Trisha Myers!

It with much gratitude that we thank Trisha Myers for stepping up to serve as the Vanguard NELC lead this past year to help aid in supporting the Vanguard vision and mission. At this time Trisha would like to transition away from her leadership role while continuing to serve as a Vanguard member and is “only an email away”. We are grateful for her service and look forward to seeing all of her wonderful contributions to Vanguard through her work with the district.

We are very lucky to have a candidate from our fall interviews ready and willing to lead the charge for the NELC with Tammie St. John. Congratulations Renee Morris and welcome to the team!

Warm Welcome to New NELC Lead- Renee Morris

Hello, Vanguard! My name is Renee Morris and I am currently the Curriculum Support Teacher at Findley Oaks Elementary. Prior to beginning my role at Findley Oaks this year, I was a classroom teacher and Administrative Assistant at Dolvin Elementary. I have worked in Fulton County for the past fifteen years, and I have been a member of the Vanguard team for the past four years. I really enjoy working with and supporting teachers on innovative ways to increase student engagement and achievement. I have presented at many district PD events and GAETC. I have a passion for showing others how to effectively use technology to enhance teaching and student learning. I look forward to working with all of you in this new leadership role!
