Message from Ms. Kelly
Twin Rivers Families,
We are off to a great school year! The students are beginning to settle into our daily routines and adjust to being back in school. I am so proud of them, and I’m excited about all that this school holds for our students. Curriculum Night is coming soon! Please mark your calendars for Tuesday, August 22nd, from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., for Curriculum Night. We will have shuttle buses running from Mountain View, like we did for Open House. We’re looking forward to seeing you at Curriculum Night. It is my joy and honor to serve the students and families of Twin Rivers. Let’s have a fantastic year!

The election for School Council will take place on Friday, August 25th through Monday, August 28th at 9:00 a.m. There will be an electronic link for parent voting in the August 25th edition of the Twin Rivers Times. We will contact new members on August 31st.
GCPS Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council
Gwinnett County Public Schools Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council (SSAC) is a unique opportunity for middle and high school students to share their feedback, school experiences, and perspectives on various issues affecting students, schools, and communities with Superintendent Dr. Calvin J. Watts.
Through the council, students are able to voice their ideas, share suggestions for improving our schools and our district, act as thought partners as they connect with fellow students, and build their leadership capacity alongside students with whom they may not otherwise work alongside.
The application for the 2023-24 SSAC will be available in the Student Portal from August 9-27, 2023. Additional details about the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council, including meeting dates and times, is available on our website.
