Ad-Hoc Attendance Committee
This committee will meet monthly to discuss students who are chronically absent, design interventions for students, and hear appeals made by students and parents who are on the chronically absent list.
Discipline Reminders
We are currently not triggering minors to equal a major. We had a long talk about how 3 is not necessarily equal depending on the violation. This is open to continued conversation throughout the year, however. Don't stop logging them. We'll be checking the list weekly to see who we need to consult with and keep on our radar.
Curriculum Night Wednesday
- We have purchased nice folders for the parents.
- We will be printing items and putting them in the folder including the mastery grading scale, information about RTI, and login information to check grades.
- We encourage you to provide handouts for parents as well. They can stick them in their Curriculum Night folder and refer back during the year.
