NWR Student Highlights - Perfect SATs

Congratulations to Honorata Lubecka and Sean Pergola for earning perfect scores on the June 2019 SAT! Sean scored perfect on the SAT Subject Test: Literature and Honorata scored perfect on the Mathematics. This is not easy and we are very proud of you!

MS & HS Student Activities

  • Ski Club: HS & MS ski/board club forms are now available on the NW website! Students may purchase Camelback lift tickets, season passes, rentals, and lessons for themselves and family members. Forms are due back to Mrs. Abbiate (for HS students) and Mrs. Richardson (for MS students) by November 7th.

  • Interact Thanksgiving food drive: Interact Club is collected nonperishable Thanksgiving foods the month of November. All items will go towards Thanksgiving baskets for local families and stock local food pantries. Collection box will be in the lobby through November 25.
  • 2019 Gingerbread House Competition - 9th Grade Fundraiser: Competition is open to ALL. Must obtain a registration form from https://nwrnews.blogspot.com/2019/10/gingerbread-house-competition.html or send a request for registration form to 9thgradenwr@gmail.com.The deadline for submission is December 7, 2019. Prizes will be given to each category: Family/Group (2 or more people), Child 9-17, Adult (18 and older), PLUS one bonus award: Viewers Choice through votes by the public in attendance.

  • Annual NAHS Craft Fair 12/14: If there are vendors who have not signed up please email edewey@northwarren.org.

  • Women in Stem Career Day 2020: This January 9, 2020, Freshman Girls are invited to attend a day long event hosted by Johnson & Johnson, at Sussex County Community College. The event objective is to raise awareness of the value of women in STEM careers. Guest speakers include engineers from Johnson & Johnson, Thorlabs and Picatinny Arsenal. NWR Athletics

Cross Country Sectionals

NWR boys earned 2nd place at the North 1 Group 1 sectional championship this past weekend. Jack Kellaher was 3rd and Jake Riley was 10th for the top 10 spots. Jimmy Paulson, Kyle Kasprenski, Domenic Russo, Devin Johnstone and Jacob Erickson all contributed to the 2nd place finish.


The girls were 3rd overall. Sophia Knerr was the Sectional Champion for the first time since 2015!! Gabriella Pagano was 15th with Sophia Civitella, Morgan Lamas, Greer Duncan, Katie Walsh and Nicole Kudlacik helping the patriots move onto the State Championship next weekend. It has been almost a 20 year streak for the boys and girls of having a top 5 finish at sectionals.


Prior to the Sectional Meet, the HS Girls Cross Country team went UNDEFEATED in the NJAC division. The HS Boys Cross Country team won the NJAC small school conference championship for the first time in school history. Fantastic accomplishment for a team that we know works very hard!


Congratulations to the team and Coach Loughlin and Coach Jones for their tremendous dedication and efforts! We are so proud of you.

NWR Marching Band

This past Saturday the NWR marching band competed at Met Life Stadium and placed 3rd in US Bands All States competition Group III open with a score of 93.2!
The band also received 1st place in music effect. During the season the band placed 1st in all of their competitions and the Color Guard is ranked 2nd in the state of NJ.


Congratulations to all of the members, Mr. Z and Ms. Lippincott for their many hours of work and devotion. We are truly in awe of all you do and what you bring to NWR!

Technology Bits

  • Chromebook Repair: For parents of 7th, 8th, and 9th Grade students; if your child's Chromebook needs attention please have them bring it to HS-34 accross the hall from the Cafetreia. NWR covers any defects or accidental damage. Deliberate damage is not covered and handled on a case by case basis.
  • Password Reset: If there are students and parents who required password reset for Genesis, please ensure they come to HS 34 (Tech Office) to get the access resolved.
