- Remember to sign your child up for the Six Flags Read to Succeed program. Record the books your child reads on the Read to Succeed reading logs, if your child is participating. All students who complete the requirements will earn a Six Flags ticket!
Please share with your child these instructions for creating a Valentine box:
2. Next, cover your box. You may want to paint it or cover it using materials like wrapping paper or construction paper.
3. Decorate your box in a way that you like. Be creative!
4. Put your name on it in large lettering.
5. Be sure to make an opening on the top so that friends can easily put cards in. Also, plan an easy way to open your box so that you can take out the Valentine cards!
Valentine boxes and cards should be kept at home until Monday, February 10.
Valentine Cards
Exchanging Valentine cards is optional. However, if your child chooses to give Valentines, please make sure that each child in our classroom receives one. This will help us avoid hurt feelings on a very special day. If your child wants to give an extra special card or gift to a close friend, this should be done outside of the school setting.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
A list of classmates went home last week.
