Hey Seniors!

2021 is sure to be a fun & creative graduating year. Our Principal wants to connect with you, celebrate your Senior year, and prepare for your graduation.

Email Dr. Parker and let her know how to best reach you by sending her your preferred contact information. An online invitation will go out soon. Parents are welcome, too!

Milo the Muskox appreciates your patience

This has been a challenging year to say the least in almost every area of life. Reimbursements are no different.

FPCS acknowledges that many of you are frustrated with the length of time it's taking to receive your reimbursement checks. Our staff is working diligently to get them processed as quickly as possible.

The homeschool charter schools in the district have all more than doubled in enrollment and the amount of reimbursement requests have overwhelmed the district’s accounting office.

Again, we appreciate your patience and assure you that you will get reimbursed; it is taking up to 8 weeks at this time. We kindly request that you don’t contact the ASD accounting office, instead contact Dru at dru@fpcs.net and she will look into it for you.

Thank you!

Sponsor Teacher Spotlight

Our Sponsor Teacher JaNice West;

I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. I graduated from the University of Alaska, Anchorage with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education.

After graduation I began working with Anchorage School District as a classroom teacher I taught 2nd grade for many years. From a young age I always knew I wanted to work with children. I love being able to work with children and families to help students reach their full potential. I am very excited to be a part of the Family Partnership team. I can't wait to meet with families and help their student's grow! My husband and I have 3 kids, Aidan (14), Avalee (2) and Eleanor (11 months). When I am not helping families I love to spend time with my family doing outdoor activities.

During the summer we like to spend time at the park, go camping and enjoying the Alaskan weather. I am really looking forward to a great year helping families and students with their homeschool needs! It's going to be a great year!
