Michelangelo, a sculpture, painter, and architect. He was born in Capris, Italy, and spent most of his life in Florence, Italy, he died in Rome, Italy. Some of his famous works are his sculpture, David, this was a very controversial piece due to the fact that the fact that David is nude. This piece is called "Studies For Libyan Sibyl", These are ideas for pieces of art. The man in the piece looks to be a plan for a man sitting down.
During Michelangelo's adult life his patron was the Medici family, but during his teen years, he apprenticed the painter Ghirlandajo. Michelangelo's works contained skepticism because his works were questioned by religious morales, due to the nudity.
