Gay rights
Do Gay people deserve their own rights and respect?
They deserve their own rights.
The attitude towards Gay people are just horrible. They are people too and I believe that they deserve equal rights because it's their life and its their pursuit of happiness.
- In the United States, attitudes toward gays and lesbians have shifted strongly over the past decades. During the middle part of the twentieth century, homosexuals faced serious prejudice.
- Gay people deserve as much rights as we do. They need to be treated normally and just because they have a different Sexual orientation, doesn't mean they can't work. I think that some people are judging Gay people without even knowing how good of a person they are.
- I believe that Gay marriage shouldn't even have to be legalized. It's part of their rights as a person. When people get married, no one votes on them but when the Gay people want to get married, they need votes to see if its okay. Personally, I think that that is completely biased. People base it on how it looks to them or how it affects them. Gay people should have the freedom to love and marry whomever they want.
