A HUGE thank you to everyone who attended Curriculum Night yesterday evening. If you were not able to attend, below you will find a link to our powerpoint presentation.

Curriculum Night Powerpoint

Class Dojo

If you have not done so already, please download the Class Dojo app. The app will notify you when you get a message from the teacher or your child has uploaded a picture to their MyStory account. We check Class Dojo throughout the day, so you can also use it to send your child's teacher a message. If your child has more than one Dojo account (i.e. an account for P.E. and an account for homeroom), you will have to use the dropdown menu at the top of your app to choose which class you would like to view.

Our classes will go to the library twice a week, Mondays and Fridays. However, they are allowed to check-in or check-out books when needed on our non-scheduled library days. Our librarian Mrs. Freyou has requested that students keep library books in their backpacks so they will always have them.

Photos for the Yearbook

Although the end of the year seems very far away, it's never too early to start gathering photos to include in the yearbook. We have found an app that allows parents and teachers to submit photos that could be included in the yearbook. If you plan to attend any school events and wouldn't mind sharing your photos, please download the app using the appropriate link below to contribute.

Sky Ranch

Please plan to attend the Sky Ranch meeting on Thursday September 22nd. We will be discussing important information regarding our trip to Sky Ranch in the Spring. Chaperone applications and the chaperone selection process will also be discussed that evening.

SAGE is a wonderful organization for you to join. If you're interested in connecting with other parents of the gifted or learning more about gifted children, be sure to join. We've heard great things about the special events they plan and speakers they bring in!

Classroom Snacks

At times, students may forget to bring a snack to school. We like to keep an extra supply of snacks in our classroom for these occasions. If you are able to donate a bulk snack to our classroom, we would greatly appreciate it. A few suggestions are listed below:

  • Goldfish snack crackers
  • Chex cereal
  • Animal crackers
  • Cheerios
  • Cheese-its
  • Pretzels

Thank you in advance for all your help!
