Superintendent's Parent & Guardian Communication 3/26/2020
Dear PfISD Parents and Guardians,
It has been amazing to watch the response by you, your children, and our teachers to this new, temporary way of having school. Our social media has been flooded with images of our teachers, students, and staff pulling together to celebrate their school communities, even from home. Many campuses have been doing spirit weeks from home, teachers have held honk parades through neighborhoods and our food service workers have been handing out nearly 3,000 meals in a day. Although it is a stressful time for everyone, it is always great to see the way our community pulls together during times of adversity.
This week our teachers are working on getting assignments ready for your students to work on while at home. Some of our teachers have been ahead of the curve and have already sent out assignments, but we have asked them to pull back until we can launch all together as a District on Monday, March 30. We are all learning our "new" normal together. Click the link below to take you our website and find our "new" normal, for now. As circumstances evolve and we learn more, we will make adjustments and communicate with you.
