Creation of The Panama Canal
President Theodore Roosevelt Oversaw the realization of a long term United states Goal. To build a canal so that they could ship goods quickly and cheaply between the Atlantic and the Pacific coasts. The Building of the Canal started At 1903 and ended at 1914.

- He was born in New York City on October 27, 1858 and then he died in New York January 6, 1919
- Youngest man to Become president at that time because William McKinley was assassinated
- He had the idea of making the Panama Canal
The Open Door Policy
This gave every country the right to trade with China and this was a good thing because we were building the Panama Canal and we were able to import and export products to china withe short route there with Panama Canal
