National Hispanic Heritage Month

Lotus would like to acknowledge the beginning of National Hispanic Heritage Month. We realize that Hispanic Americans' contributions have been too many to list here. Throughout this month, we will be honoring this important time on our calendar. We have a bulletin board devoted to the important individual champions whose lives have changed the world. We invite you to visit hispanicheritagemonth.gov.

Noche Latina is BACK!!!! Join us on October 13th from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Noche Latina is an annual event as a celebration to wrap up Latinx Heritage Month. The 2022 Hispanic Heritage Month Observance Theme has been selected. This year's theme is: "Unidos: Inclusivity for a Stronger Nation." The theme encourages us to ensure that all voices are represented and welcomed to help build stronger communities and a stronger nation. This year's event will include a potluck dinner where students and faculty are encouraged to bring Hispanic-inspired food to share with the Lotus School. In addition, we will have entertainment provided by local artists as well as students from Lotus.
