Thank you for all of the tissues that have been donated to Ramsey! We have a good supply now for all of our classrooms.

Absent: If your student will be absent please call the attendance line and leave a message for Sue. Direct attendance number: 651-744-4750.

Mask Request: Extra new masks at home? We are looking to build a larger supply so our students can have properly fitted masks. Students come in all shapes and sizes just like masks! All materials and sizes welcome. Thank you for helping support proper mask wear at school to keep your student and family safe.

Experiencing COVID-19 Symptoms?

Common COVID-19 symptoms include: fever greater than or equal to 100.4° F, new onset and/or worsening cough, difficulty breathing, new loss of taste or smell OR at least 2 of the following: sore throat, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, chills, muscle pain, excessive fatigue, new onset of severe headache, new onset of nasal congestion or runny nose. If you or your child are experiencing any of the above symptoms, please keep your child home from school.

then Call the Ramsey Attendance Line at (651) 744-4750 to notify the school that you will be keeping your child home from school.

Literacy Corner

The Scholastic Book Fair will be held December 13th-17th. Students will be able to preview books on Monday, December 13th in the library. Sales will be held December 14th-17th. Parents are strongly encouraged to set up an E-Wallet account for easy cashless shopping. See the Q-R Code below to set up an E-Wallet account and browse the interactive book flyer.

Classroom Updates

Science - 8th Grade

Hello Science 8 Parents and Students, Our next test on Minerals will be Friday Dec 17th on the iPad. Also, please make sure you are checking your student's missing work on Schoology, the quarter end will come just a couple weeks after winter break end. Thanks, Mr. Kowalski


The AVID Elective class is holding a December fundraiser, and we'd love your support! We are selling fudge, and the proceeds will support our spring field trips. The AVID field trips expose students to college and career opportunities! Thank you for your support!

The fudge is made locally in Minnesota at Walnut Grove Mercantile and is available in 4 flavors. A half-pound of fudge costs $10, or you can buy 3 half-pounds for $25. Orders may be picked up on Monday, December 13 from 3:30 pm to 7:00 at Ramsey Middle School or may be picked up by students during the school day. Tutor Me

SPPS has formed a new partnership with TutorMe to give students free access to online tutoring services. TutorMe allows students to connect with a subject-level expert tutor at any time to get support in current classes. TutorMe is an external company SPPS is contracting with as an additional resource for students alongside the SPPS Academic Support Center and other student support opportunities in our schools.
