Essential Instructional Practices in Early Literacy Grades K-3
This 2-day series will provide participants with an opportunity to examine some of the Literacy Essentials more deeply and identify instructional approaches to support students.

Introduction to Lucy Calkins Reading Workshop Grades K-5
An introduction to Lucy Calkins Reading Workshop for teachers new to the Units of Study for Teaching Reading.
Date: 10/15/19
A running record is a standardized process for capturing a student's precise reading behaviors. This course provides an introduction to coding, scoring, and analyzing a running record in order to make responsive instructional decisions for students.
Date: 10/29/19
In this course, participants will become familiar with the framework of a guided reading lesson in order to engage students with a rich variety of texts and foster an effective and efficient reading processing system.
