SY 2019-2020 Calendar Preview
Another goal is to reduce the number of early dismissals in the SY 2019-2020 calendar. A calendar will be brought forth at the January Legislative meeting for approval.

RECOMMENDATIONS AND ACTION ITEMS
Education Committee - Curriculum & Pupil Services
Operations Committee
Related to the Sandy Run Middle School project, the Board approved the installation of electric switchgear and a temporary transformer to be used during construction. The Board also approved bids for the modular classrooms which will be used as temporary classrooms.
The Board approved a communication tower space license agreement which will allow the District to use an existing antenna on the Township's communication tower for our repeater. This will allow the District to utilize our two-way radios more effectively.
The Board approved also approved radon testing to be conducted in all school buildings.
Finance Committee
The Board took action to renew flood insurance for Sandy Run Middle School and the Annex.
Due to the Board's approval, the Treasurer can now sign checks for student activity accounts if necessary.
Finally, the Board took action to approve the spring sports supplies bids.

The Board approved the second reading and adoption of the following policies:
- 616 Payment of Bills
- 621 Local Taxpayer Bill of Rights
- 622 Compliance with GASB Statement 34
- 626 Travel Reimbursement Relating to Federal Grants
- 917 Title I Parent/Guardian and Family Engagement
The Board approved the first reading of the following policies:
- 006 Meetings
- 324 Personnel Files
- 330 Overtime
The Board also approved the following administrative regulations:
- 618 Student Activity Funds
- 621 Local Taxpayer Bill of Rights
- 622 Compliance with GASB Statement 34

COMMUNITY INPUT AND COMMENTS FROM THE BOARD AND SUPERINTENDENT
Dr. Yanni announced an FAQ document regarding the construction of Sandy Run Middle School. This document will be updated throughout the construction process.

Dr. Levinowitz reminded the community of upcoming Operations and Finance Committee meetings next Thursday, December 20, beginning at 6PM in the UDHS Cardinal Room.
