Jaguars of the week

Each week the teachers recognize students from their classrooms for demonstrating outstanding character based on the attitudes or actions that fall under the Character Counts Pillars: Congratulations to the following students for being nominated this week.

Mrs. Bevente's Third Grade Class

We are working on practicing our reading stations: reading groups, listening to reading, independent work, read to self and read with a buddy. We will also be working on setting goals for ourselves, decision making, and appropriate Chromebook use.

Mrs. Harsila's Third Grade Class

We are working on reading Lemonade War. We are talking about how there doesn't need to be a competition with siblings to do something nice for people around you. It is a series book so we started reading chapters 1-4.

Character Counts Celebration Night

The community is invited to Celebration Night in Old Town Park as we celebrate the American Character Award winners. These awards are presented to school children and youth athletes who exhibit outstanding character.
