## What was the change?

The Scientific Revolution not only changed the way people viewed the world, but the way people thought about medicine, mathematics, and astronomy at the time.

## Who were the people associated with the change?

## Issac Newton Issac Newton was a phenomenal physicist, mathematician, and philosopher for his time. He thought of many things that many others were not thinking, because it was going against the churches word. Mr.Newton invented the three laws of physics, he also built one of the first telescopes known to man, and the Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy are a very few examples of what he thought of while he was alive. | ## Johannes Kepler Kepler was a brilliant, yet patient, astronomer and mathematician. He proved Nicolaus Copernicus' theory of the heliocentric model to be correct. He further investigated that the planets move in elliptical orbits round the sun. He also concluded that the plants orbit faster when closer to the sun, and the time the planet takes to move around the sun is proportional to its distance from the sun. | ## Galileo Galiei Galileo Galiei was an Italian math professor who set out to prove many theories of ancient greek philosopher, Aristotle, incorrect. In Galileo,s studies he found objects accelerate at a predictable fixed rate. He also proved that heavy objects fall at the same rate as lighter ones, and he also made many improvements to the telescope to observe |
