Reminder for the 3rd Grading Period
If you would like to make a change to the learning option for your child(ren) for the 3rd grading period from CFISD Connect to On-Campus or from On-Campus to CFISD Connect. The selection window will be open between Monday, January 11 and Sunday, January 17 for students in grades PK-5. A separate questionnaire must be completed for each child needing a change.
**If your child is continuing with the same learning option for the 3rd grading period, then no action is required**
- Log in to the Home Access Center using your PARENT login/password, NOT the STUDENT login/password.
- Click the “Home” button. Select the “School Links” tab. Click the “Return to School Questionnaire – 3rd Grading Period.”
- You must use the parent login to see the “Return to School Questionnaire – 3rd Grading Period” in the "School Links" tab.
- If you do not see the “Return to School Questionnaire – 3rd Grading Period”, you may have used the student login instead of the parent login.
- If you do not have a parent login, please contact the Customer Care Center at 281-897-4357 or the registrar at your child’s campus.

The Facts about Masks
1. All students and staff are required to wear a mask.
2. Mask should fit covering the nose and mouth. (If too big it does not stay up over the nose and offers no protection to your child or those around them).
3. Face mask with Exhalation Valves (vents) may only be worn in combination with full-face shields.

Daily Screening
As a reminder, all students must be screened prior to coming to school using the district health screening questionnaire click here https://www.cfisd.net/en/lead-safely-2020-21
If your student answers yes to any of the questions, please keep him/her home, fill out the investigation form and email it to health services mailto:healthservices@cfisd.net. The form can be found on the district website.
If students are tested for COVID 19, they can’t return to school F2F while results are pending. Please contact RN for further guidance.

Good hand washing is the key to preventing illness. Please teach your children to wash their hands after using the restroom. Hand washing is also necessary before and after eating and preparing foods. Discourage children from touching their face, including their mouth, nose, and eyes. The main route of infection (germs) into the body is from the hands to the mouth. Proper hand washing technique includes wetting the hands in warm water, apply soap and rub hands together vigorously for at least 20 seconds, rinse under warm water while continuing to rub hands together, then dry hands. Make hand washing fun by teaching your children to sing the ABC song while they wash their hands and not to rinse until the song is done. FLU season is here and the best preventative is hand washing and getting the flu shot.
