Pike Lake Science Fair 2020
What? The Science Fair is a science project event being held at Pike Lake Kindergarten Center
Who? All students will view the fair, but creating a project is optional. Any interested student may create a project. Projects can be made as a family, individually, with siblings or friends.
When? The Pike Lake Science Fair will be held in the gym on Tuesday, April 7, from 5:30-6:30 PM. We encourage students with projects to come with their families that evening to share about their projects. All students will also get a chance to view projects and share about their project with their class during the day.
Set-Up? Students may bring projects to set up in the gym on Monday, April 6 from 3:00-6:00 PM or on Tuesday, April 7 from 7:30-9:00 AM.
How? 1. Register by returning this paper form or by filling out the online Google form
Choose a topic of interest.
Gather information and perform your experiment, invention, research project, etc. (You can find more information and project ideas on the back)
Make a display that stands on its own to show what you’ve learned. Display boards can be purchased at many stores, or can be requested from Mrs. Lee.
Bring the display to the school gym on Monday, April 6th or Tuesday, April 7th to be set up for the fair.
Share what you have done with your classmates during the school day on April 7th, and attend the science fair on Tuesday, April 7, from 5:30-6:30 PM, where students will informally answer questions and share about their projects with family and friends who attend the event.
Questions? Feel free to contact Susan Lee, Science Specialist, with any questions that you have. She can be reached by email at susan.lee@moundsviewschools.org, or by phone at 651-621-7470.
