the RAH
Jan 4-8, 2016
Welcome 2016!
Welcome back to 2016! As you return, I would encourage that your time and energies be focused on relationships and modeling those relationship that set the learning climate. Because learning is always double-coded—both cognitively (based on the content) and emotionally (based on the relationship)—relationships enhance or detract from learning. Emotions are the motivation for learning. When learning is attached to emotion, it is remembered longer. It is also make it more relevant, as it is tied to the human experience.
Bret & I will pick up with our rounding visits. I'm looking forward to Weaver, Bowerman, York, Bissett, Williams & Watkins this week; more if I'm able.
A reminder that next Wednesday, January 13th will be our next gathering for Senior & Elementary Leadership Team. If you have any items you wish to be considered for the agenda, please send them Bret's way.
