SacramentoPRAYS
Uniting people to pray in the Greater Sacramento Region.
Seek God for Christ to be welcomed as King
"Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory int he highest!" Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus. "Teacher, rebuke your disciples!" "I tell you," He replied, "if they keep quiet, the stones will cry."- Luke 19:38-40
As we celebrate Your coming to Jeruslam on Palm Sunday, and Your death and resurrection this Good Fridayand Easter Sunday, we release our hearts to leap forward in hope that You will visit our city- and every city- to bring great awakening to Your lordhip. How can people be silent if You are present in their midst, demonstrating the splendor of Your kingly rule? May the rocks keep silent before the growing sound of welcoming worship! May our children be the first to know and honor You. May millions submit their lives to You and be saved. Let Your peace be as great as Your glory.
He who testifies to these things says, "Surely I am coming quickly." Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!- Revelation 22:20
We yearn for Your coming. Yet our best statement of hope is to say "Even so..." The way and time of Your coming is Yours to choose. Whatever You might mean by "quickly," we trust Your love and wisdom. No matter how long we might wait, find our hope fixed on You. Only come, and come to us quickly.
Pray:
- That our city would awaken to Christ's lordship.
- That believers would remain resolute in their hope for Christ's return at the end of the age.
Seek God on behalf of The Coming Generation
How often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings...you will not see Me again until you say, "Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord."- Matthew 23:37,39
That many who are now small children would soon become passionate followers of Christ; that during their lifetimes they will finish evangelizing the world; that they will endure suffering to overcome evil and bring forth the promised blessing of God upon all peoples; that they will give Christ the finest whole-life worship of all history.
Prayerwalk: Walk your city thinking of the people who will live there in years to come, should the Lord tarry. Pray for the generation that will be dwelling in your city when Jesus returns.

Fuel the Movement Campaign
We are entering a time when everyone who has been involved in SacramentoPRAYS and the gospel movement in the region is being called to sow into this ministry through prayer and financial gifts. We are in the launch phase of a three year initiative that will match churches with schools, build evangelism in our neighborhoods and multiply community prayer groups throughout the region. Please pick the date and location that best fits for you and register using the Eventbrite link listed at the end of this column.
When you come, you will hear from hear Executive Director Jeff Kreiser, as well as other leaders in the ACTS Group, about Gospel Movement in the Sacramento Region and the way in which ACTS was formed to be a collective impact catalyst and mobilizer for united Christian initiatives. Jeff will be challenging those coming to participate in helping fund the Every School/Every Neighborhood Initiative that has as its goal one or more church partners for every public school in the six county region, and evangelistic ministry in the neighborhoods surrounding the schools. There will be a 40 minute presentation and time for Q&A on any subject related to the rising level of God’s activity throughout our the Capital region. Dessert and coffee will be served.

SACRED ASSEMBLY
Well… we are gearing up once again for another Sacred Assembly on Saturday, April 18th from 9a – 6p in the Prayer Room. We would love to have you join with us as a Prayer Leader. I’m sure you would agree that things are continuing to escalate on both a national and global level. At the same time, we continue to sense an increase of the spirit of God over our region. We believe we are in a Joel 2 hour where God is blowing the trumpet and sounding the alarm, calling the intercessors to arise and respond to His 2 Chron. 7:14 invitation. We are convinced that as we humble ourselves, pray, seek His face and turn from our wicked ways He will hear our voice and heal our land.
