Register for the 2019 - 2020 School Year
Register for the 2019-20 School Year
Registration for the 2019-20 school year is now open! For families of returning students, emails were sent last week with a link and "snap code" to register their children for the upcoming school year. Clicking on this link will have most information already filled out for each child (and separate emails will be sent for families with multiple students).
Families who will be new to the district can enroll online for the upcoming year as well. More information can be found at www.nisdtx.org/enrollment.
New This Year!
When you enroll your child for the upcoming school year, you can donate to the Northwest ISD Education Foundation (NEF) and join your campus PTA.
The Education Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for NISD students and teachers for scholarships and classroom teaching grants. Donations made are tax-deductible. To date, NEF has awarded more than $1.6 million in classroom teaching grants and $500,000 in student scholarships. Learn how you can connect with NEF at www.nisdtx.org/nef.
During enrollment, you can also sign up to join your campus PTA organization. Learn more about PTA in NISD at http://northwestisdcouncil.my-pta.org/.

Kindergarten RoundUp: Take 2
Attention Incoming Kindergarten Parents: Due to some bad weather in the area, Roundup didn't go exactly as planned this year. On Tuesday, May 14th at 6:00 p.m. we are offering the parents-only portion of the Kindergarten Roundup presentation that you missed. Dr. Seltzer will share more details on our Lakeview kindergarten program and the PTA will share ways in which you can support the school and get involved. A specific timeline of "back to school" events will be shared. Childcare will be provided (ages 4 and up); however, this is only a rescheduling of the presentation to parents and not the portion in the kindergarten teachers' classrooms. You are invited to join us for the last PTA Membership meeting of the school year that begins at 6:30 p.m. with guest speaker to follow. See below for details.
PTA Membership Meeting will take place on Tuesday, May 14th at 6:30 p.m. in the library. Immediately following we welcome guest speaker from Brain Balance, who will present as part of our PTA Parent Program Series. We hope you can join us!
Lakeview PTA Membership is now open for the 2019/20 school year! Enroll by May 15th and be entered in the drawing to win a $25 Gift Certificate to the online spirit store. www.lakeviewpta.org
Yearbooks: Limited quantities of the yearbook are still on sale! Order yours today here! To order a yearbook, you must Log-in to our website or create a username and password.

2.Do not post pictures or information of children who are not yours. Privacy is important so do not post pictures or information about other students without parent permission.
3. If you have a question regarding events or information regarding Lakeview, your best bet is to always email your child's teacher or call the front office.
4. If you are unhappy with a situation or would like to share a concern, please always email your child's teacher or contact our front office.
5. Finally, stay positive. No one benefits when community members disagree on line.
