Finding the FUN in Fiction!

Join MCCIRA on October 19th as guest speaker Caroline Hickey discusses ways to use creative writing to spark a love of both reading and writing in your students. Bring a pen, paper, and your imagination, and be ready to participate!


Caroline Hickey is a middle grade author and creative writing instructor. She is an adjunct professor in the Writing for Children and Young Adults program at McDaniel College, and an instructor at Writopia Lab. She has published nine books and is a frequent speaker at schools on the importance of free writing, editing, and having fun with fiction.
